Alex Ovechkin, Braden Holtby, and the Stanley Cup will appear on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Monday

As the Capitals party takes a break before the parade on Tuesday, Alex Ovechkin and Braden Holtby will make a quick trip up to New York City. The two of them will appear on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday. The episode will air on NBC at 11:35 pm ET.

2018 Stanley Cup® Champions Alex Ovechkin and Braden Holtby of the Washington Capitals will visit NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday, June 11 (11:35 p.m. ET/PT).

The Capitals captured their first Stanley Cup Championship in franchise history. Capitals captain Ovechkin, who led all playoff goal-scorers with 15, won the Conn Smythe Trophy, awarded to “the most valuable player to his team in the playoffs.” Ovechkin became the second Russian-born player to win the Conn Smythe Trophy and the fourth player born outside of North America to earn the honor.

Capitals goalie Holtby recorded all 16 wins in the Capitals’ championship drive, finishing with a 16-7 record, 2.16 goals-against average, .922 save percentage and two shutouts.
