The Stanley Cup Champions are on their way to National Park for a game against the Giants. Before they left Virginia, some players encountered a Caps fan wearing an RMNB The Djoos is Loose shirt.
They liked it, so they made a trade.
As reported by superfan (and long-time RMNB supporter) Sheena, the Caps gathered outside Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington before making their way to Southeast DC. Tom Wilson spotted the shirt and had to have it.

TJ Oshie was the one who made the trade, per these photos from Eugene S.
In exchange, the fan received this Capitals Strength and Conditioning shirt, per Sheena:
(If anyone knows this fan, please get in touch and let him know that we’d be delighted to replace his original.)
Once on the bus, Swedish defenseman Christian Djoos donned the shirt made in his honor.

I asked Cara Bahniuk, who designed the shirt last year, what it meant to her. “To know that the people – especially the people who the shirts are about – enjoy them makes all the hard work worth it,” Cara said. “I can’t stop smiling.”
The Djoos is Loose is available for purchase in the RMNB store.
“It’s a cherry on top of what has been an incredible week.”
Thank you, Sheena and Eugene, for the story and photos. Thank you, Caps, for, ya know, everything.
