The Washington Capitals are in for a very busy week. After flying back to DC today, they will be in attendance at the Nationals game on Saturday, June 9 with the Stanley Cup.
The news was first reported by the Washington Post’s Chelsea Janes.
The Stanley Cup and some of those who won it will be at Nationals Park for tomorrow’s game.

Janes also said that manager Davey Martinez wants to invite the Capitals to take part in batting practice.
Davey also said he plans to invite the Caps here to take BP some time. “See what kind of swigs they’ve got.”

The first pitch of the game is at noon.
The Capitals later confirmed.

It’s unclear if every player will be there, but the Cup definitely will be.
