The Washington Nationals are showing their support to the Capitals before the hockey team’s upcoming playoff run.

Martinez was joined by Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo wearing a Caps hat, which is progress. During the 2015 Winter Classic, Rizzo wore a Blackhawks jersey to Nats Park to show support to his native Chicago.
Rizzo is also wearing a Caps hat tonight.

The two will match outfielder Adam Eaton with their outward support to the local hockey team. While recovering from a torn ACL during the 2017 season, Eaton wore a Capitals hat as his “rehab hat.”
