Daniel Sedin and Henrik Sedin officially called it a career Saturday night after 17 seasons in the NHL.
The twins were honored by the Edmonton Oilers after the Canucks 3-2 loss. Oilers players stayed on the ice as Henrik and Daniel Sedin saluted the crowd after the final whistle. The Sedins received a loud standing ovation as they thanked members from both hockey teams.
The Oilers named Daniel and Henrik the second and third stars of the game for one final encore.
Two days earlier, the Sedin twins combined for an overtime goal in their final home game in Vancouver.
Storybook.
Two incredible careers come to an end. From all of us, #ThankYouSedins. 👏
