In January, TJ Oshie became the latest Capitals forward to rep a pizza chain, joining pizza-slinging Alex Ovechkin (Papa John’s) and finger-pointing Tom Wilson (Paisano’s).

Oshie recently filmed a short social media video for the Maryland-based company and showed off how he cuts his pizza.

It’s… different.

Oshie uses his actual ice skate to cut his pepperoni pizza and he looks so proud after doing so. I’m not sure how health inspectors would feel about this, but I imagine it gives the pizza a certain je ne sais quoi that’s hard to describe.

The video was for a contest that’s already over (my bad), but really, let’s all just take a moment to enjoy watching a multi-million dollar athlete cut his pizza with his own stinky hockey gear. If you’re not going to score a goal with your skate, cutting a pizza with it is definitely the second best way you could use it.
