TJ Oshie missed the final 9:32 of the third period after suffering a lower-body injury against the Carolina Hurricanes.
After the game, Capitals head coach Barry Trotz said Oshie would be reevaluated and “we might have an update for you.”
Saturday afternoon the Capitals PR announced that Oshie is out day-to-day.

The injury appears minor. Trotz said that the team is being “a little ultra-cautious right now” with the postseason so close.
Oshie will travel with the team to Pittsburgh on Sunday and St. Louis on Monday, but it’s unknown if he’ll play either game.
