Thursday morning, the Capitals took their annual team photo at Capital One Arena.
Smushed in like sardines on benches and platforms, the players, wearing their full pads and equipment, awkwardly tried to maintain balance. During a break in smiling action, Lars Eller took a wrong step and almost fell off the platform entirely.
Don’t worry though, his teammates were all there to catch him.
Well….except Evgeny Kuznetsov who could not stop laughing.
Embarrassed, Eller quickly acted like nothing happened.
You’re good, Lars. Absolutely no one saw.
