Alex Ovechkin became the fourth fastest player to score 600 goals Monday night against the Winnipeg Jets. Ovechkin scored a power-play goal in the first period before having his legendary moment at even strength in the second stanza.
After the game, the Russian machine cheesed with his milestone goal puck.

Ovechkin immediately gave the stick he scored with to Caps equipment manager Craig “Woody” Leydig
According to a source, Ovechkin plans to keep the milestone 600-goal puck as well as the stick and gloves (his 16th pair) he used to score the goal in his own personal museum.

There was some doubt, however, if the puck would ever get back to Ovi.
When Ovechkin scored, fellow countryman Evgeny Kuznetsov skated to the net to fetch the puck. Dustin Byfulgien was a poor sport.
Byfulgien swept the puck away from Kuznetsov and knocked it down the ice.
