Tom Wilson is a warrior. After taking a puck to the face in the second period, the burly forward returned for the beginning of the third.
Wilson took the opening faceoff and showed off a souvenir right above the bridge of his nose.
It appears after the puck struck Wilson in the head, his helmet’s face shield slammed into his forehead, opening up large cut.
Check out the swelling and that gash on his forehead. Gnarly.
Of course, it didn’t take long for Wilson to get physically involved in the third period. #TopLineTom nearly got in a fight with Kyle Clifford after leveling Nate Thompson at center ice.
Wilson could be seen pleading not to fight, but still had to drop his gloves anyway.
Just another day in the office.
