Jakub Vrana scored the 12th goal of his season, tying the road game in style with a mid-air swat.

Vrana and snakebite victim TJ Oshie were swarming around Jonathan Quick’s net. Vrana’s wristshot whiffed, but Oshie cleaned it up to put a shot on net. Quick went to the splits, sending the puck careening sideways and up. By that point Vrana was way below the goal line, but somehow he managed to reach backwards for the tip-in.
There was a short review of the play to confirm the stick was not too high.
Vrana now has goals in two of his last three games and points in three of the last four.
