Capitals forward Jay Beagle takes a lot of pride in being a father and sharing his hockey passion with his two sons. Beagle frequently takes his kids out onto the ice after practice, and Sunday was another one of those adorable days.
Beagle’s youngest son wore skates famously worn by Brandt in 2015. The skates have been passed down in the Beagle family, previously worn by Jay and even Grandpa Beagle when they were kids.
While Jay helped baby Beags, a Capitals trainer set up a bucket for Brandt to shoot into.
Jay was holding Baby Beags’ hand to make sure he didn’t fall.
The twosome was later joined in front of the net by Jakub Vrana who helped Brandt take some shots. Jay later lined up pucks along the goal crease line for Brandt to shoot in. Fans standing behind the net cheered as Baby Beagle scored.
Hearts were definitely full after seeing the Beagle family this morning.
