Each player on the Washington Capitals has a unique personality and #brand of their own. While we don’t know the players personally, we, as fans, pick up on their traits and tendencies after watching our favorite team play 82 games in a season. Sometimes certain parts of their personalities are hard to pinpoint or articulate, but we’d know it when we saw it.
RMNB reader Emily Chaumont picked a Vine video that represented every Caps player on the active roster (plus Nathan Walker too because c’mon, Barry, he should be in the NHL).
“Today ended up being the day [I put together this thread] largely because I was procrastinating on submitting my first assignment of the semester and tend to procrastinate by watching Vine compilations,” Emily said. “The easiest and most obvious comparison was the one I picked for Tom Wilson and I decided to go from there.”
Aside from the enjoyment of other Caps fans, Emily hopes her little sister is proud of her for knowing enough Vines to make an entire 23-tweet thread.
Editor’s note: Some of these videos are crude, have explicit language, or may not be in good taste. They were selected from a pool of viral Vine videos that reminded Emily of each player. They do not represent how RMNB feels or thinks about a certain player and are not meant to be taken seriously.
