Capitals forward Andre Burakovsky will get back in the lineup Friday night against the Montreal Canadiens. It will be Burakovsky’s third game in eight games.
Burakovsky has been a healthy scratch three times during the last several weeks. He also missed back-to-back games against the Carolina Hurricanes due to the stomach flu.
He talked about contracting the ol’ north and south with reporters after the team’s morning skate.

“I didn’t play the two games because I was sick,” Burakovsky said. “Stomach flu. It’s been around [the team] a little bit.”
Former roommate Tom Wilson, sitting in a stall immediately to Burakovsky’s right, began laughing.
Burakovsky grinned in response.
Then he shared even more details.
“It’s not a fun thing to have. You feel like crap,” Burakovsky said. “I was just on my bed the whole time. Couldn’t move. Couldn’t move. I was dead.”
