Andre Burakovsky has been a healthy scratch in two of the last three games, but will get a sweater from Barry Trotz Tuesday night against the Vancouver Canucks. Burakovsky will skate on the Caps fourth line and he’ll most definitely look the part.
Tuesday during the Caps’ morning skate, Burakovsky showed off a black eye that he suffered during the team’s 4-3 (OT) win over the St. Louis Blues on Sunday.

“I just got elbowed in my face the other game. It’s a part of hockey,” Burakovsky said. “I kinda fell in the neutral zone and he try to poke-check on me and fall through with his elbow and hit my eye.”
“It’s a tough sport,” the former teen shampoo model said. “You got to be prepared for whatever happens.”
Burakovsky was asked by a media member how he believed others perceive him when he’s out in his street clothes.
“I think it’s… a bad boy that you don’t want to mess with,” Burakovsky joked. “It’s funny. All my friends are joking about it at home asking what the other guy looks like.”
Burakovsky also showed off a new haircut that he received from his friend Sebastian Molldén on Monday.

Molldén has a few Caps related photos on his Instagram page including one with Burakovsky’s former roommate Tom Wilson.
Skön avslutning på veckan med ett sent träningspass😜💪🏼❤️
