Saturday night at Capital One Arena, Barry Trotz reached another significant personal milestone. After his Capitals 5-2 win over the New Jersey Devils, Trotz earned his 737th career win, passing current Rangers assistant coach Lindy Ruff for fifth all-time in NHL history.
All four coaches in front of him have won a Stanley Cup.

This season is Trotz’ 19th in the NHL, his first 15 coming with the Nashville Predators where he racked up 557 wins. He now has a clean 180 wins with the Capitals with many more to come.
