Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin leads all Metropolitan Division players in votes for the All-Star Game and that really means a lot to him.

Like Taylor Swift who is always surprised to win all the awards, Ovi just gets super excited when you think he’s the best. The Capitals showed an example of Ovi’s appreciation after the team’s morning skate.

You guys! Ovi’s waving. Oh now he’s thumping his chest and pointing at you. He’s saying he loves you.

Every vote has had a vast and significant effect on this man’s self worth. Don’t let his ego crumble. Vote this half-machine/half-human as captain of the Metro All Stars. He’d really appreciate it if you did.
