In November, Ottawa Senators captain Erik Karlsson and his wife Melinda announced that they’re expecting their first child.
Tonight, they publicly revealed the gender of that baby in the cutest way ever.

In Melinda’s video, Karlsson expertly hits a hockey puck, which promptly explodes into a cloud of blue powder.
The Swedish defenseman immediately jumps like three feet in the air as the room erupts into delighted screams, pumping his hockey stick above his head before running to embrace his wife.
Congrats to the Karlssons! We can’t wait to see their little boy out on the ice in a few year’s time.
