37-year-old Brooks Orpik missed Friday’s Capitals practice due to an upper-body injury. Taylor Chorney took Orpik’s spot in the lineup and the team termed Orpik as “day-to-day.”
After the team’s skate, head coach Barry Trotz spoke to the media and this happened.
Trotz first said Orpik has a "lower-body" injury. Spokesman corrected him that it's an "upper-body" injury. Trotz: "Depends on where he holds it."
