Andre Burakovsky’s Christmas tree adventure

There’s something about Andre Burakovsky that makes watching him do normal human things ridiculous.

Here is another example.

Earlier this week, the 22-year-old Swede bought a Christmas tree. He documented part of his trip on Instagram.

A few observations.

  • Burakovsky drove a Porsche to bring the pine tree home. Just imagine all those needles strewn about that expensive interior. Doesn’t he have friends who have a pickup truck or something?
  • The tree is covered in protective netting.
  • It’s unclear if Burakovsky traveled home with his trunk up the entire way.
  • There’s a random hockey stick sticking out of the back seat.
  • Burakovsky posted a photo with his license plate number. We blurred it out for his own security.

So to recap, Burakovsky drove a super expensive car to get a Christmas tree and potentially returned home with his trunk up because the tree was so big. Again, we can’t be sure. Only Young Dre knows the truth.

Later, the Caps forward posted a photo of his Christmas tree decorated and up in his place.

The end result is beautiful, but why do I feel like someone else did all the decorating for him?

Never change, Andre. Never change.
