Washington Capitals center Evgeny Kuznetsov has goals in consecutive periods after another beautiful play.
Taking the puck down the wing, Kuznetsov stopped on a dime and zipped a wrist shot through Jonathan Quick’s eight-hole to briefly give the Caps a 2-1 lead.

Frankly this entire play is disgusting. And I mean that as a compliment. Jakub Vrana gets props for skating hard to the net and attracting attention from the Kings D.
The cameraman in the corner had the best view of this goal. Check out Kuzy coming into your living room and celebrating.
You can see Kuzy’s first tally of the night here.
Later in the third period, he almost tallied the hat trick.

Kuznetsov now has eight goals on the season and nine points in his last eight games. It’s Kuzy’s sixth career two-goal game and his second multi-goal game of the season.
