Joonas Donskoi scored two goals and tallied a shootout marker in the Sharks’ 3-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks Tuesday night.
The team honored the Finnish forward the best way they knew how. Inspired by a viral video earlier in the day, the Sharks’ social media team edited a MARTA bus overtop Donskoi’s stunning first goal.

The MARTA bus is in reference to a video that received nearly 100,000 retweets in its first 12 hours being live. A Weather Channel producer set up the perfect live shot of the Georgia Dome being imploded. And then at literally the worst time, a MARTA bus came into frame and stopped in front of the camera.
