The Nationals’ Ryan Zimmerman was at the Capitals game

The Capitals had a special guest in attendance Saturday night.

Longtime National Ryan Zimmerman and his beautiful wife Heather were in attendance for the Caps-Wild game. The lovely couple took a photo from their glass-side seats.

Zimmerman, who is Washington DC’s longest-tenured athlete, has been documented going to Capitals games as far back as 2013. Zimmerman even attended a game at last year’s Caps-Leafs playoff series.

The Nationals have been especially supportive of their hometown hockey team lately. Last week, Nats all-star Bryce Harper tweeted out congratulations to Braden Holtby, after the Capitals goaltender became the second quickest netminder to 200 wins.
