The Hershey Bears lost to the Toronto Marlies Saturday night, but there was one good moment.
Bears captain Garrett Mitchell scored his second goal of the season.
But it’s his celebration that I’d like to highlight.
Mitchell fell over after scoring in the final minute of the first period. The Bears forward slid on the ice with his legs wide apart and his butt up in the air.
It was not graceful.
It was like a reverse twerk.
Despite Mitchell’s goal, the Bears fell 4-1 to the Marlies. They face off against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Sunday afternoon.
But we will never forget his #ButtGoal.
Garrett Mitchell celebrates his first period goal against Toronto.
