Capitals forward Andre Burakovsky has missed the last three games with a fractured left thumb, but the Swedish forward has kept himself busy in the mean time.
Last week, the Burracuda took a photo of his TV and tweeted support for his teammates as they played the Canucks.

Pairing up with personal trainer Jonas Morin, Burakovsky has been working hard to accelerate a timeline that may keep him out of the Capitals lineup until December.
Burakovsky’s workouts have included one-armed pushups.
“A couple of days have passed since our Day 1 body screening,” Morin wrote on Instagram about Burakovsky’s training, as translated by Magnus Cadelin. “We’re now working on normalizing – stabilizing his unbalances through our sport specific setup. This is in relation to the sport and according to the principals of sports bio mechanics. Amazing environment you work in @kettlericeplex.”
Thursday, Burakovsky visited Georgetown Hospital to have his thumb re-evaluated.
“Thumbs up! Heading in the right direction but still a bit to go!” Morin wrote.
With the Caps under .500, Burakovsky’s return can’t get back soon enough.
