The Caps are getting mudstomped in Vancouver, but, hey, Evgeny Kuznetsov just got a grape to go with all them apples.

Um, this is the play?

There’s a shot… and then a save… and then a whole lot of things happen in a mass of legs and sticks… and then the puck’s in the net. Judging by the celebration, Kuznetsov is happy about it and wants us to think it was deliberate. Sure. Let’s go with that.

Kuznetsov now has 13 points this season. All but this one are assists. He leads the team in points. If he can get four more of ’em in the third period, we’ll have a real game on our hands!
