As the Capitals got ready to begin the third period in Detroit, Alex Ovechkin cracked open a pack of smelling salts.
We all know about Ovechkin’s a pro at using ammonia inhalants to get amped.
Jakub Vrana…yeah, not so much.
Look at Jakub. The poor kid seriously looks like he can barely breathe.
I still think he handled himself better than Evgeny Kuznetsov last December, however.
While I’ve never done smelling salts myself, judging by Vrana’s reaction I’m 100% convinced I wouldn’t like it. But keep doing you, though, boys.
