Tuesday night before the Capitals faced off against the Toronto Maple Leafs, there was a Herculean battle inside the locker room.
As Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin tried to put on his hockey pants, he was met with resistance. So Ovi attempted to show the pants who was boss.

If you ask me, the pants won this battle.
This continues an expanding set of weird pregame routines that the 32-year-old Ovechkin is engaging in. The Russian machine has also gotten in a habit of confronting/motivating/whatever-this-is Swedish forward Andre Burakovsky.
this is a habit. o grabbed burky out of a full skate at home opener warm ups, so burky grabbed his collar and pushed him into the glass.

Stay weird, Ovi. Never change.
