The Russian Women’s National Hockey Team was in New Jersey Friday for the first stop of their annual United States tour, playing teams from the National Women’s Hockey League. As luck would have it, the team with a certain “Russian Machine” was also in the Garden State, preparing for a game with the Devils.
Team Russia stopped in at the Capitals’ morning skate to watch Alex Ovechkin, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and Dmitry Orlov. After the skatethrough, the Russian Caps stopped by to meet and take pictures with the national team.
Kuznetsov posed with Russian head coach Alexei Chistyakov, while both he and Ovechkin took a picture with the entire team.

Kuznetsov wanted to take a picture of them with Ovechkin for himself, but was forced in.
Best part was that Kuznetsov wanted to take a photo of the team with Ovechkin. Had to be convinced to actually get in the photo.
