Michael Latta hasn’t been roommates with Tom Wilson for over a year, but he’s still out there searching for the best ketchup deals.
On Wednesday, Latta posted an Instagram story from his “annual” Costco trip.
He was disappointed by the price of ketchup.
Of course he tagged Tom.
Latta and Wilson’s affection with ketchup began during EPIX’s Road To The Winter Classic series. The two stopped in the kitchen while giving a tour of their apartment.
“Not much going on here,” Latta said, as he and Wilson open the refrigerator for the world to see.
“Lats went to Costco and we got the best ketchup deal in the entire world,” Wilson says. “Three for one. It was a steal.”
Well, it seems that Costco has stepped back on their deal-making over the past three years. In Latta’s video, the ketchup is now packaged in two instead of a special three-for-one box.
Over the summer, Latta signed a contract with the Arizona Coyotes. He appeared in two preseason games and earned a fighting major before being assigned to the AHL Tucson Roadrunners on September 25.
