Caps Slapshot is a fun, good-natured mascot, who makes all of us smile. But Friday night at Capital One Arena, Slapshot took a dark turn.
During a stoppage in play before a face-off, in-arena cameras found the mascot propped up along the corner boards AND OH MY GOD GUYS THAT’S NOT A FUN-LOVING CLOWN.
RUN. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN.
