Ladies and gentlemen, meet your 2017-18 Washington Washington Capitals Capitals.
During the team’s informal skate Monday, the Caps debuted their new Adidas practice designs. As a Reddit user first posted last week, the Capitals wordmark is centered inside a bordered circle in white mesh pain. The team’s name, in a Arial Narrow-esque font, is repeated on the top and bottom in red paint.

The same circular design is being utilized league wide.

The new practice jersey rollout is part of the NHL’s new longterm contract with Adidas as the league’s official outfitter. Over the summer, the NHL’s previous relationship with Reebok ended.
According to reader Gene Wu, the Caps’ new practice jerseys are already available in the Kettler Capitals Iceplex team store. They are being sold for $120.
