Capitals prospects Vitek Vanecek and Jonas Siegenthaler are at everyone’s favorite place: the DMV!
Vanecek, a goaltender from the Czech Republic, and Siegenthler, a defenseman from Switzerland, are applying for their American driving licenses before the start of training camp.
These are faces of pure joy.
Visitors to the US can only use their foreign licenses for a restricted amount of time, so as permanent residents of the US, it was time for Vanacek and Siegenthaler to make it official. The two had to go through the normal application process including a written, practical, and vision test.
Last year, Nathan Walker and Andre Burakovsky visited the DMV on an off-day to take the driving tests. Walker passed, but Burakovsky didn’t bother reading the book and failed the written test.

We hope Vanecek and Siegenthaler had more success than the Swedish cinnamon roll.
I believe the term you are looking for in Swedish is "kanelbulle".
