TJ Oshie and Braden Holtby arrived back in DC this week, but they were once again on the move. The two were chosen to represent the Capitals for the NHL Media Tour which began today in New York.
The media tour covers a wide variety of activities, including interviews, video filming, special event promotion, and photo shoots. The team representatives take part in all the activities throughout the two days.
The best part was a photo shoot Oshie partook in while modeling new Capitals winter gear. The scene is very reminiscent of a back-to-school ad, with Oshie posing in front of a make-shift locker room cubby.

The NHL media tour is designed to knock out as much press as possible among some of the leagues biggest stars. Other participants include Arizona’s Max Domi, San Jose’s Martin Jones, Minnesota’s Charlie Coyle, Columbus’ Seth Jones, and Montreal’s Jonathan Drouin. The NHL will use the photos and video in marketing throughout the season.
