It appears that the Vegas Golden Knights Twitter account has found its new permanent home: under a bridge somewhere in Nevada.
Wednesday, the Golden Knights announced their jersey numbers for next season. In their apparent excitement about Vadim Shipachyov, they trolled Sidney Crosby with a number 87 power ranking list.
Now that our jersey numbers are in, our updated No. 87 power rankings:
1. Shipachyov
2. @RobGronkowski
3. Can't think of any others— Vegas Golden Knights (@GoldenKnights) August 30, 2017
In second comes Rob Gronkowski who is a minority owner of the Golden Knights.
One commenter suggested that Pittsburgh’s captain should be first.
Let me remind you of another #87. A 3 time Cup champion #87 if you will. pic.twitter.com/DI7fYNXMI9

Pittsburgh fans then began to troll back.
The funniest part of this will be in 7 years when the Vegas team gets relocated to Quebec…

This continues Vegas’s long-simmering beef with the Penguins that started last July.
