Nathan Walker celebrates engagement in Australia

Capitals draft pick Nathan Walker has a big year ahead of him.

On top of potentially becoming the first Australian to play in the NHL, Walker will marry his longtime girlfriend Tayla Billinghurst next year.

The two Aussies celebrated their engagement on Saturday.

Walker posted photos of the party to his Instagram account. Along with saying he couldn’t wait to spend the rest of his life with his fiancé, Walker included a wedding hashtag #walkerdowntheaisle2018. This is a very good pun.

The two became engaged on June 23, 2016. The couple bought a home in New South Wales, Australia last August.
