Two weeks ago, MAJOR – a DC-based premium footwear and streetwear retailer – released specially designed Capitals shoes, which features the team’s vintage logo on the outsole. The Caps were one of only three teams who had special shoes made. Reebok explained to RMNB that this was a parting gift to consumers before the brand’s relationship with the NHL ends in the fall.
When they were released, the shoes caused a block-long line to get into the store and are already practically sold out on MAJOR’s website.
