The goaltending battle between Braden Holtby and Marc-Andre Fleury pits two of the weirdest goalies in the NHL against each other

At the end of the night, either Braden Holtby or Marc-Andre Fleury will have led their team to the conference final. They are two of the strangest goaltenders in the league.

Braden Holtby’s routines, which we nicknamed around a decade ago as Holtbyisms, include:

– A nine-minute groin stretch during the morning skate.

– A fancy hat

– Pregame visualizations

– An arm shuffle

– And the water bottle squirt.

Then there’s Marc-Andre Fleury who is best friends with his goal posts.

Whenever a shot will either hit the post or the crossbar, Fleury will go over and talk to the iron and give it a loving pat.

Goalies: they’re so weird.
