Penguins goaltender Marc-André Fleury made a miraculous save on Evgeny Kuznetsov in the closing minutes of the second period to keep Game Three a one-goal affair.
Undaunted, Kuznetsov got his goal back midway through the third period.

After the Caps second line got sprung on a three-on-two odd-man break, Justin Williams found Marcus Johansson driving the center lane. Mojo carried the puck towards the crease before sending a quick pass to Kuznetsov who set up camp near the goal line.
Kuznetsov out-waited a diving Fleury, who dove to the opposite side of the net to protect the post. Kuznetsov then roofed the puck over Fleury’s out-stretched glove for the goal.
After not scoring any goals against the Penguins during last year’s postseason, Kuznetsov already has two in three games this year. Tonight’s goal was Kuznetsov’s third of the postseason.
