After surrendering a 2-0 series lead to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the Hershey Bears won the fifth and final game of their first-round series Sunday, advancing to the second round for the third-straight year.
Rookie defenseman Colby Williams scored the game-winning goal after Nathan Walker found him wide open in front of the net. Williams one-timed the puck past a sprawling Martin Ouellette for his first career playoff goal.

Christian Thomas would later put the Bears up 2-0. But the Bears would need Williams’ insurance goal to hang on to the win. Pheonix Copley made 28 saves, including 10 in the third period to earn the win.
