The Washington Nationals put the Caps game on during batting practice

The Washington Capitals played the Boston Bruins on national TV today. They were cheered on by 25 friends in Philadelphia.

As the Washington Nationals prepared to take on the Phillies today, the team put the Caps game on during batting practice at Citizens Bank Park.

Chelsea Janes, the Washington Post’s Nationals beat reporter, first reported the news, tweeting a photo of the jumbotron. The pic captures the game right when Kevin Shattenkirk scored his only goal of the game.

Even though Bryce Harper pledged his allegiance to the Vegas Golden Knights, it is still nice to see DC sports teams cheering each other on.
