Wednesday night, the Verizon Center debuted another museum-esque addition that celebrates its hockey roots.
Right outside section 105, the Capitals unveiled a new display entitled Sticks of the Capitals, featuring game-used twigs from every Caps player.
The display is set against a bold red background of Alex Ovechkin. The sticks are aligned in a way to mimic the movement of a shot.
The title of the display rests snug on the bottom left corner.
Each players headshot is included by the blade of their stick. The photos are circles to mimic a puck.
What a great addition Verizon Center!
