Sooooo… The Washington Capitals’ snowbird trek through California has not gone as planned. The team has lost both games so far. They can’t score, and they’re nursing a three-game losing streak.
The good news is that they’re about to play the worst of the three left-coast teams, Randy Carlyle’s Anaheim Ducks. Also good news: the Caps won’t have another late game until the end of the month, so you can get some sleep.

Whatever we call it, seems like some serious weather is imminent. How much snow depends on if you trust North America’s free and patriotic forecasting model or Europe’s tax-and-spend, socialist model. Either way, be safe and be warm!
