The goal was made due to a great effort by Wilson’s lineys. Daniel Winnik gained the zone with speed before leaving a beautiful drop pass to Jay Beagle. Beags then found a hustling Tom Wilson for the easy tap in.
The goal was Wilson’s 20th career goal.
Wilson’s a fantastic skater for a power forward and he was rewarded for driving hard to the net.
