Alex Ovechkin tallied his 16th career hat trick Wednesday in one of those legendary Ovechkin games you’ll never forget. During a postgame interview on the bench, CSN Mid-Atlantic’s Al Koken asked Ovechkin how he would celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.
And the response was classic Ovechkin.
Al Koken: “You’ve been around now for a lot of American Thanksgivings. Do you have anything you look forward to eating or doing tomorrow?”
Alex Ovechkin: “Uhhhh. Maybe sleep. Video games. We’ll see.”
Come on, Al. You know this! The only question is if Ovi will have a shirt on or not tomorrow.
