Dmitry Orlov scoarlovs, runs over a Penguin to celebrate

Dmitry Orlov has joined TJ Oshie and Nicklas Backstrom in the invite-only Goals Party at Verizon Center.

The Russian defenseman’s tally was the Novokuznetsk’s first of the season. It gave the Caps an emphatic 4-0 lead over rival Pittsburgh.

As Marcus Johansson skates the puck into the Penguins zone, he hits Orlov, driving the center lane, with a backhanded pass. Orly takes care of the rest.

Orlov snipes a shot stick-side past Marc-Andre Fleury. He then proceeds to run over Penguins defenseman Brian Dumoulin.

What a fun game.
