    Braden Holtby’s superhuman paddle save

Midway through the first period, Braden Holtby did what he does best: make a ridiculously difficult save look easy.

As Holtby makes the initial save off a Penguins shot, he stops another with his right pad. But the puck ricochets off Holtby’s pad and then Evgeny Kuznetsov’s skate. While the puck wobbily careens towards the yawning net, Holtby reaches behind his body and knocks the puck away with his paddle.

Evgeni Malkin would eventually kick the puck into the net during a scrum in the crease. Referees would waive off the goal.

    Wow.
