The Washington Capitals’ season wasn’t a minute old before the goals began. Kicking off the season was Andre Burakovsky, assisted by his similarly Swedish teammate, Nicklas Backstrom.

You will like this. It’s way better than summer.

The play began with Backstrom, who crossed the blue line and deftly passed to Burakovsky, darting to the net.

Now that’s a beautiful sauce pass with touch.

One Burakosky passed the hash, he released the shot. Marc Andre Fleury didn’t have answer.
