Jason Chimera made his grand, preseason return to Verizon Center since signing a two-year deal with the New York Islanders over the offseason. Would Chimmer take it easy on his former teammates?
Of course not!
Mid-way through the first period, Chimera first made his mark felt by bodychecking Tom Wilson along the boards.
Then as the two players converged at the Capitals bench, Chimera chirped Wilson and gave him an elbow in the mush.
Wilson laughed.
Later, Chimera gave a cheap shot to John Carlson at the Caps bench during a line change.
Carlson had a big smile as he got up.
Chimera was clearly enjoying himself. During warm-ups, Chimmer made sure to say hello and chirp everyone that skated by.
He even gave a big hug to Braden Holtby.
What a troll.
