Over the weekend, Andre Burakovsky took his World Championship bio picture for Team Sweden and it’s… definitely something we need to talk about.
You know that photo of Justin Williams at the Caps’ picture day, and all you see is his hair everywhere? Well, in this headshot, someone could possibly mistake Andre for being J. Wills’ son.
It’s standard for hockey players to grow out their hair but, Burra, didn’t anyone tell you long hair makes you look younger? Let’s not worry too much though. It’s just more padding under his helmet to protect his adorable head. And as we saw with Evgeny Kuznetsov on Tuesday, that’s probably a good thing.
Meanwhile, Alex Ovechkin’s bio photo was recorded by the IIHF and set to dramatic music. Ovechkin took it very seriously.

Here’s a photo of Ovi while taking the picture.
Here’s how it actually turned out.
Meanwhile, Evgeny Kuznetsov seemed to enjoy the process.
His bio picture turned out great.
So did Dmitry Orlov’s.
